A Pastoral

I had a sheet of Arches which I had been keeping for a masterpiece then I thought "what the heck",I overcame my fear of painting on this precious!(expensive) paper so here is the result. It didnt turn out as good as I expected but at least I didn't waste the paper with a failure.

1/2 sheet Arches 300gm/140lb+Schmincke colors.

It is beautiful, Nusret! This paper is absolutely NOT wasted. I love the softness and warm of the painting that goes wonderfully with sheep as a subject.

C'est tout simplement magnifique !
Je ne sais pas si la papier Arches ou tout simplement votre talent est à mettre en avant, mais c'est très réussi.
Congratulations.

Hello Nusret, I had the pleasure of browsing through your blog today. I love the wonderful atmospheric qualities of your art. Such as with this look of the dust flying as the sheep are running down the road. Very beautifully done.

Hi Nusret,
I am a "virtual" friend of your friend, Esra Sirman (due to our shared passion for photography) and I found your blog in a very indirect way last week. I was immediately knocked out by your work, the way you use colour & form to interpret such a wide range of themes. It makes the paintings very emotive and alive. I also like Esra's naive painting a lot, so different to your style of course. Do keep up this tremendous work. Best wishes,
Stew
